Datalliance Delivers New Release of VMI Service

Cincinnati, Ohio, November 2, 2007 - Datalliance®, the leading independent provider of VMI services, today announced the immediate availability of the latest release of the Datalliance VMI service. Delivered as a managed service via the Internet using the .Software as a Service. (SaaS) model, Datalliance VMI makes it easy for suppliers and their customers to establish effective VMI relationships that fully align business objectives, improve collaboration, and streamline supply chain operations. All of the enhancements in this release support Datalliance.s ongoing development objectives of enhancing user productivity, improving information access through flexible reporting, and incorporating technology to simplify and reduce the overall cost to implement and operate Datalliance.

Enhancement Highlights:

New "Alerts" Added

• Two new Alerts have been added. The .item Removed From Last Order. alert increases Planner productivity and effectiveness by catching items that are removed from orders week after week. The .Item Not Sold in recent History. alert provides additional flexibility in determining items that should be brought to the Planners attention at the time of suggested replenishment.

Distributor/Supplier Reports

• Weekly Summary Report . This new report is available at the distibutor level and provides a comparative snapshot of location performance. The report, sorted by distributor locations, displays average inventory, total demand, rolling turns and percentage in stock.

• Distributor PO Summary Report - In addition to this reports ability to drill down to PO details for a given location for a given days order, the report now allows those details to be saved as a .csv file that can be opened within a spreadsheet application.

• Location Group Reports - Significant usability enhancements have been made to Scheduled Reports in this release. The purpose of the Scheduled Reports link is to allow Suppliers to generate "standard" Datalliance reports for a set of locations that have been logically grouped together.
