Brief Overview:

Datalliance, a software/service company specializing in Vendor Managed Inventory, is seeking a highly motivated individual with demonstrated inventory management and customer service skills to fill an analyst position within its Customer Care department. Initial duties include responding to customer inquiries, data analysis, and application testing, expanding to include project management and training. Job Description:

The position involves participation in all areas for which Customer Care has primary responsibility.

1. Development Quality Assurance - This includes all steps from requirement definition to delivery. While we are not responsible for managing the programming resources, we are responsible for making sure the requirements documentation, the design, and the actual deliverables meet the needs of our customers and are of the highest possible quality. Initial involvement will be more geared towards actual testing and should evolve to taking ownership of requirements gathering and documentation.
2. User Documentation - This includes both on-line and hard copy documentation. It is Customer Care's responsibility to insure that the documentation is complete, timely, and user friendly.
3. Customer Care Line - This is the interface for current customers to report problems or make inquiries either via phone or e-mail. This is one of Customer Care's primary day to day responsibilities. It is critical that all inquiries are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
4. Project Management of the start up process - This involves working with both the suppliers and distributors to explain the advantages of Datalliance and oversee the work processes involved in order to help all parties meet their objectives.
