Welcome to the mid-year edition of the Datalliance newsletter. VMI continues to be adopted across a wide range of industries and we are further establishing Datalliance VMI as the preferred VMI solution. Included in this newsletter are several press releases on companies such as Schneider Electric, Oatey Company and Hubbell that have recently selected Datalliance as the foundation for their VMI programs or have realized significant business results directly related to their VMI programs. In Hubbell’s case, their VMI program was recently recognized by Managing Automation magazine and was awarded the “Progressive Manufacturing” award. The award recognizes projects that have achieved distinction in at least one of eight core disciplines critical to business success in the years ahead. Hubbell’s VMI program was recognized in the “Customer Mastery” category. Congratulations to Hubbell on this industry award!

Datalliance customers were recently featured in an industry webinar sponsored and conducted by Truck Parts & Service magazine. Steve McEnany, VP Marketing & Technology, Midwest Wheel, and Max Buchanan, Datalliance Director of Sales for Automotive, Industrial, and Heavy Duty, conducted the VMI webinar with Derek Smith, Truck Parts & Service magazine editor. In addition to Midwest Wheel, VMI successes at Point Spring, Midway Truck Parts, and Kroeger Equipment were also presented in the webinar.

The feature article in this edition of our newsletter highlights the VMI success at Canplas and Consolidated Supply. Canplas is an innovation supplier and Consolidated Supply is one of the leading distributors for the plumbing industry. Lastly, I’d like to thank everyone that attended the annual Datalliance Forum which was held May 18-19.
