Operation/Data Center Update

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our team members, the Operations group closed out 2009 with no unscheduled outages to production and customer facing systems. We're looking to replicate this success over the coming year by continuing our investment in best-in-class systems and architectures.

We completed an upgrade to the latest version of our firewall systems, a major change that had the potential to affect the connectivity of every Datalliance customer. Thanks to detailed planning and testing, the upgrades were accomplished with no loss of customer connectivity. The new systems will enable better network redundancy between our two data centers.

Earlier in the fourth quarter, we decommissioned the final components of our legacy storage architecture and moved our development systems to our IBM Storage Area Network. Our production and development systems are now running on identical storage back-ends, providing our Development and Customer Care groups with a testing environment that is more representative of our real-world processing capability.
